why is time so... well short!?

there is so much to do and so little time

At the moment, I am working on my book illustration and I've given myself loads of work to do! I've decided (in my infinite wisdom) to put ivy round the tree, the thing is, painting each and every leaf is killing me!! Then there is the grass... don't get me started on the grass!!

Ho-hum, I keep telling myself that it is all worth it. I've been trying to figure out a quicker way of doing the leaves and grass without losing detail, but, alas, to no avail!

I'm getting there, but slowly... ever so slowly... and it seems that when I start in the morning, the time flies, the sun is setting and all I've done are a few leaves!!!!

Anyway, enough of the moaning, time to pay my respects to some fantastic artists!
